Volunteering
Volunteering can be an extremely rewarding experience
leaving you with an enormous sense of satisfaction from
giving up your time to help others.
The experience you gain along the way is beneficial
too. You will have the opportunity to gain new work and
life experiences, developing your skills further and
training you to deal with different situations.
This experience combined with the fact that you have
shown your self-motivation by giving up your time will
boost your CV and help your employment prospects.
What is more, the opportunities for voluntary work are
vast and whatever your interests, music, arts, sport,
animals, etc, there will be a group in need of your help.
Opportunities exist in the UK and overseas, with organisations
offering the chance to see parts of the world you would
never have otherwise been able to visit.
