Promotions & Marketing Assistant
Looking to get into Events? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within the industry, working for JobServe Events, organisers of the UK's largest series of recruitment and career exhibitions.
Attending a range of national recruitment events you will be assisting with pre-event marketing & promotion, event set up, registering visitors and demonstrating on-line services to candidates.
Out of show season you will be assisting with the marketing in preparation for the next series of events. You will need to be a highly motivated, outgoing, energetic team member with good interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude. Flexibility is also required as travel, weekend work and overnight stays are part of the role.

Sales Account Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales person to join our existing successful sales team at JobServe Events; organisers of the UK’s largest series of recruitment events, JobServe Live! and a portfolio of Business2Business Shows. As part of JobServe, the world’s 1st internet recruitment service, this is your chance to work for a successful Global company.
Based in Taunton, you will be required to sell an expanding series of events as well as online recruitment products and advertising opportunities.
Reporting to the Event Sales Team Leader, this stimulating and challenging role will involve you: developing a portfolio of active accounts and prospects through telephone, face to face sales and networking opportunities; engaging Recruitment & Business Decision Makers to identify and qualify opportunities; keeping up to date with market and business trends including competitor activities, understanding developments for the client and identifying new and emerging opportunities; constructively work as part of one sales team, sharing ideas, knowledge and resources to help build a first class sales force.
The successful candidate will be motivated by targets and be results orientated, totally committed to achieving the sale, have a proven track record in sales, excellent at communicating with a strong telephone manner, competent in telesales and experience in cold calling, have a flexible approach to their work and a good team player
Previous experience in a sales environment is essential and previous experience in outbound telesales calls would be a distinct advantage.
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday
Salary: Basic up to £18.5k uncapped commission realistic OTE £28k + benefits |
